If we land Tommy Rowe from Peterborough... I'll have a giant football boner for the next 2 months...

Crewe / Southend JPT Final

Skip to 7:00 for a nice little goal from Murphy. He seems to play pretty deep at CM and doesn't push forward much. Good in defense and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Never thought they would still be out this long when they dropped from the EPL.

Hearing a lot of negative things about Mills... injury concerns, big wages, headcase... I don't know if its true.

Also a rumor we are interested in Chris Forrester from Irish League... St. Patrick's Thistle.

We have a ton of forwards and midfielders right now... I wonder who will get their walking papers? Diouf? Varney? Tonge? Pugh? Brown?

I'm assuming we retain Austin, and Green. Murphy just joined and Thompson is supposed to play a role this season as well.

tonge is a solid player and occasionally scores cracking goals. brown is old and really only serviceable as a squad player or in games where you need a bit of experience and edge.

pugh has been transfer listed more times than i can remember so i could see him going. then you've got norris who i like but could be the odd man out. green and austin were our best CM's last year.

you also have a promising youngster like dawson who maybe goes out on loan. i felt like varney could be in the shop window to generate some funds given his good finish to the season with some goals but i'd like to see him stay. don't really care about diouf but i feel like mcdermott wants him around. just please don't sell mcswagmack.

Selling McSwag would be a kick in the teeth after the headway we have made with Smith, Murphy and Hunt.

just sign a centre back and maybe a winger on loan and i will be happy. still think we need a true frontman who can bag the goals but if ross can replicate his 2011/2012 form that may just be enough.

there was talk earlier in the summer of landing suso from liverpool on loan for a season. rodgers and mcdermott worked together at reading so maybe there is something to it.

also saw on twitter (yes, i know) a rumor about marc albrighton from villa. exactly the kind of player we could add.

and just saw this...

Palace to make £3m bid for Leeds right back Byram as they look to shore up defence

3 mil?
