hopefully gone are the days of hoping some outcast trialist impresses during the preseason and wins a contract.
if somma's able to get back to near full strength he is a serviceable guy to have in the squad.

Agreed. I hope Warnock sells off a lot of Grayson's drift wood and we get some quality back at Elland Road. In looking at all of the rumors, I still don't see many defensive players being linked with Leeds as of yet. I hope that will change in the coming weeks. Our backline is severely lacking.
Should be an exciting summer.

I saw the 1972 FA Cup final on Wide World of Sports vs Arsenal and have been a fan ever since. The Leeds teams from the 60's to mid 70's were probably the greatest teams in English soccer History. I guess i'm just too loyal, but I'm not changing. Screw ManU and the rest of them.
I have faith in Warnock and glad he got the job. He has promoted teams 7 times and he relishes the challenge and understands what it means to represent Leeds. I hope Bates lets him spend some money or it will probably be another averege year. Losing Johnson, Kilkenny, Gradel, and Howson without really bringing nobody else in except loan players is what made this year very disappointing.

Today's Leeds United Rumors:
Warnock scouted (2) scottish league players. Dundee's Johnny Russell and Hearts' David Templeton.
Leeds United are being linked with a move for Teemu Tanio former Spur and current New York Red Bull Mid/RB.
Leeds United are keen on Defender Aaron Mokoena of Pompey.
Ipswich's Manager Jewell has confirmed that his club has missed out on Jason Pearce (ex Pompey Defender) who looks to be set to join Leeds United.
Warnock allegedly targeting Midfielder Dean Marney of Burnley.
