Southampton v Fulham has been a pretty good game. Southampton plays a nice brand of football.

They have attempted the fewest long balls in the league

Brad Friedel is set to have his consecutive start streak broken today. He will be benched in favor of Lloris. AVB

Fulham's central midfield is so mediocre since Dembele was sold and Diarra was hurt.

Playing a bit better now and I'd take a point with Berbatov, Petric, and Diarra out.

Friedel is in form and has been playing. If you are going to pull him then pull him the day you buy Lloris. AVB again makes these questionable decisions. I'm not saying Lloris isn't a better keep but why wait so long to play him?

A smarter move would have been to start Lloris from day 1. Never understood why AVB bought an expensive keep and wouldn't play him.

Spurs has already had two good scoring chances in the first two and a half minutes against Aston Villa.

Very sloppy start from Liverpool. Sahin almost gives one away with a backpass.

Huth stomps on Suarez' chest with no discipline.

I don't understand why they left Friedel out of the lineup. He's been playing ridiculously well lately.

I might agree with you if he was purchased on July 1 or not foreign

If you were going to start Lloris from Day 1, I wouldn't necessarily agree but I guess I'd understand a little better. It's odd to get Lloris but have Fridel start for weeks and then pull Friedel even though he is playing very well.

The commentators said the same thing. They said it's basically like Defoe scoring a hat trick and then being left out of the next game. I agree. The move doesn't make sense.
