Really good player but he has been out of form for a full year now. Still some good performances but he's looking like a jack of all trades, master of none.

If Shaqiri pans out, he'll be expendable... especially if a team is willing to pay upwards of 15m for him.

Shaqiri

Alot of people got wood for this guy. What's your take on his potential. Better said, odds of realizing his potential?

The only thing that looks to be in his way is that he's a bit of a dick, by several accounts. I've seen him play a handful of times and each time he's looked very quick and very comfortable on the ball. He has a strong left foot and is a very good defender (some people think his best position would be left back).

We'll know more this coming season, assuming Heynckes is forced to actually play some reserves.

So, Coentrao 2.0?

I think he's better on the ball than Coentrao and I think he'll be played in an advanced role unless he's needed at fullback. That doesn't seem likely because David Alaba is really, really, really good.

This is the only explanation I will accept without full-fledged rioting.

Oh yeah, it's easy to forget about shaqiri... Glad he'll be on a team where we can watch him progress...

He has a hell of a left peg, too...

PARTY

Rumors about Jovetic to LFC seem to be made up. It did seem odd.
