Yup, Alabama fans need to be cheering hard for LSU in this game

@ @chrisFnicholson - an LSU loss might make voters willing to consider looking outside of the SEC, LSU-OSU is a possibility
It makes sense.
I reckon I should be going for the fricking Georgia Bulldawgs now, right?

If OSU loses that goes out the window too.

OSU/OU is the FAR more important game for Bama today imho

If LSU loses big THEY might be out.

If LSU loses will they still be unanimous #1? And if not won't Alabama get those votes?
Posted on 12/3/11 at 4:48 pm to TTsTowel
Why would they put a 2 loss Okie State that didn't win their conference in the Title game?

Pete Fiutak is getting in on the twitter action too:

If LSU doesn't wake up and Georgia wins, then why should Alabama play for the national title if its the SEC's third-best team?

Alabama will have a weaker computer score, have played a weaker schedule with fewer games, and have lost to LSU at home. If only one SEC team gets in it will be LSU. Beleive that homey

I don't think the LSU game matters to bama. If OSU wins tonight, they're in. If they lose, bama is in

Agreed.
IF UGA beat us, then many voters will probably think something like:
" Ok. #13 UGA beat LSU. So now the great battle between Bama v LSU looks a lot less impressive, since UGA was able to beat us. LSU already beat Bama. However LSU v Ok state has NOT been played."
This makes the SEC v SEC game look a bit less desired. Oh, how things are shaking up.

I am so brain fricked
I don't know who to cheer for
my case is I don't want Bama in the BCSNCG
so whom do I root for?

UGA and then OSU later tonight

Its more complicated than that. Virginia Tech winning would also help us. Assuming LSU wins.
I haven't even given much thought to what happens if LSU loses.

I do believe that. I also believe 1st and 2nd place votes would be split between LSU and Alabama.
