LSU Fans do you still think this is LSU's best team ever?

This seemed to be a pretty universal thought among LSU fans before last night's game. It may very well be true, but just wondering if that is what you still think.

I never thought so because of QB. next year has the potential to be. Our D might be the best ever.

I like the 06 team with Jamarcus or the 03 defense. When your glaring weakness is QB it's hard to call it the best team ever in school's history.

Best team of my lifetime but with a glaring weakness at QB. Next year has a strong chance to be better though.

Probably the best defense in a long arse time, if not ever (2003 a close second, imo). But the offense would not allow this team to be the best overall LSU team of all time.

I thought that through the first 8 games this year. But at some point, i started to want this season to hurry and end. I enjoyed our victories a little less. There was a hollow feel to each game. That being said, our D may be the best to ever be in purple and gold.

do you really think we would see anything different from this offense. there is a reason we see the same plays over and over no matter who the OC is. QB does not matter.

Not an LSU fan, but after that disaster last night, it is hard to say IMO. The 2006 team may still be the strongest overall.
Also, as I have been saying since the middle of the season, this is the best bama team ever.

No way! Hell last year was probably even better from a talent standpoint, but they were just too injured. 2010 Bama had Dareous, Ingram, Julio JOnes and McElroy. If that team was healthy all year, then they could have went down as the best ever. Michigan St. felt their wrath in the bowl game when they were finally healthy.

the fact that Miles lost 2 games in 06 with all that talent shows how overrated he is as a coach.

Bryant said the best team ever was 1966.
As far as LSU's team goes, I believe they could beat Bama next Sat in Tuscaloosa.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this, but I always thought that the 1982 team, WHEN PLAYING ITS BEST, was the best LSU team I saw play (saw my first game in 1979, so that's my frame of reference).
