was just not your night. Give Saban 40 days to prepare for an offense and healthy players and it's almost not fair.

You guys will have another great team next year and we'll be honored to play you in Baton Rouge.

Bama out gameplanned, out couched, and severly outplayed LSU. Total and utter destruction.

Congrats, and now I'm going to go get banned on the rant. It's been fun the last few weeks. I'm embarrassed for the team.

I have very little respect for Miles right now. I don't blame the players, they simply run the plays sent in. But to NEVER change the game plan when it was obvious in the first half that it wasn't working is beyond excusable to me.

The playing and the coaching wasn't even close in the game, Bama his heads and shoulders above LSU.

Congratulations on the win, the best team won.

Alabama played a hell of a game. I wish we could get a do over. I don't think it is fair to either team for JJ to play in this game. I'm not saying LSU would have won, but with Lee in the game this game might have been more interesting.

congrats 'Bama. Sad that LSU couldn't offer you more of a challenge on offense. Here's to next year and having a QB.

My father went to LSU so no it was from the heart. LSU is my second favorite team in SEC.

Bama played lights-out.

LSU was out coached, out gameplanned, and out played. Embarrased to say our guys looked like they quit tonight.

I was still amazed by LSUs D tonight but just couldn't get any rest from the O. Great Season LSU, wish we could play Best of Three!

I'm sure you had good intentions, but the hole in your post is the respect you're giving LSU, because they really don't deserve it.

I always feel like congratulations posts come off as a bit condescending, but regardless everyone knows LSU had a great team this year. It was just our night. We were maybe more determined because of the loss and all the questions about should we be there, we had a great gameplan on both sides, and JJ was tentative all night, even running the option.

Great team though and I reached a point where I thought it was literally impossible for us to score a touchdown.

As I stated in another thread:

I respect Alabama fans that aren't stooping to the LCD right now. Congratulations on the win and the trophy, you deserve it, and we'll see you next year.
