I really felt that miles just gave up after the third quarter I have no clue what he was doing out there. Shepard played 3 plays.

Yes, he did. Amazing. Unbelievable. Questionable.

I was surprised that he didn't throw the kitchen sink at us in the 2nd half, but I wouldn't say he gave up. You guys have a good coach. Don't overreact.

Even Bama fans have to admit that it was an awfully coached game by miles, congrats on the win you guys are good no disrespect but it was just a piss poor performance by miles and JJ

I think we found the ten million dollar man.

But really, he picked his teeth with his tounge better than he coached tonight.

No one would have bEat Bama tonight. I don't think they could open up and pass down field because they had zero blocking.

It almost felt that way. Down by 15 with about 6 or 8 minutes to go, LSU was still calling inside run plays. It was as if Miles had a gameplan and absolutely refused to admit it was not working till the bitter end. At what point was he going to admit that Jefferson had post traumatic stress disorder and that sustained drives were not going to happen, especially down by 15 in the 4th? His only remote shot was to throw deep bombs to Randle or Shepard and pray for a miracle.

Never seen more stubborn playcalling in my life.

His post game quote said it all "I did not see this coming." Evidently he only planned for what he wanted to happen.

I don't know what else Miles could have done. When you can't run or pass on the other team, your options are limited.

I think Lou Holtz finally had an actual point. He said that LSU's average offense this season pointed to the fact that LSU wasn't always a complete team. If special teams and defense didn't play perfect, the offense wasn't going to win it for them.

I look forward to November in Baton Rouge. Mett will bring a new dimension to the LSU offense.

I don't deny it was a poorly coached game by Miles and staff. I think they felt confident in their game plan, and when it didn't work like they were expecting, they didn't have a clue what to do.

I have no idea what Miles was thinking. I was fully expecting for the world to see why he is called "The Mad Hatter" in the second half. I was ready for trick plays, JLee comeback story followed by his own damn movie, the whole nine yards...instead, our offense moved the ball for an approximate cumulative nine yards.

Is it possible that Lee was ineligible and Miles just didn't want to embarrass him? He didn't even get mop up duty in the SECCG did he?

If he was ineligible he would not have been next to Miles all night standing there waiting to get in, also we would have heard about it.

That's an interesting angle. A lot of people thought he was going to be ineligible. Supposedly he just quit when JJ came back.

He makes a better point.

Won't say he gave up, but I will never understand sticking with a QB who was clearly playing badly and was being a poor leader as well. O his shovel pass that was INT'd by Mosely he gave Ware a bad look. Ware turned to block when it looked as if JJ was running.

Les needed, scratch that, he owed it to his players to try something different whether it worked or not.
