I am so fricking pumped at his success. He had to go throu such bullshite with the deathreats despite it never really being all his fault. His receviers are actually catching the ball now and he looks great. I am anticipating the huge cheer when he runs through the T on Senior Day.

Definitely more legit than the McElroy for Heisman cries from earlier this season.

I would rate Mallett over Crompton. I remember when I was in Knoxville when he was a a freshman against LSU and Ainge was hurt, I thought he played great in relief. He trucked one of our DB's. It was one of my favorite JaMarcus Russell wins though!

I'm not ready for any Heisman talk but I think what Lane has been able to do with Crompton these last 4 games is somewhat of a miracle.

I was at the Auburn game and couldn't understand the fans reaction to him during that game. although most of it was probably hangover from past games/history.

What is it with stupid people on this board?

He leads the SEC in TD passes. All of them did not come against crappy teams.

The fact that he is 1st in the SEC in TD passes, as I said before, is amazing given the guy's past performances.

Haters gonna hate.

After the way Crompton looked against UCLA and Auburn, what Kiffin has done with him is nothing short of incredible.

not really, they realize he's a below average qb so they learned to put him in situations where he has a smaller chance of failing. Rollouts, screens, short patterns, most of the plays called are designed for Crompton to throw to specific receivers from the snap. They dumbed down the offense, it's not that incredible.
