I was there in 2005. Unfortunately I couldn't be there tonight. Feels great to do it especially in their stadium. Both games in OT. It was ugly tonight by both teams but LSU was just made a few more plays. We knew special teams would be the difference and it was. Alleman and Wing were just clearly superior.

possibly. If LSU wins it all this year we have a great chance to go back to back.

LSU is YOUNG. Maybe better next season. You lose TR, but AJ impressed me a lot.

In 2005, we lost our chances of going undefeated when we lost Prothro. After that game, we stammered through our schedule until LSU finally took us out. I was always of the opinion that a receiver can't make that much impact on an offense, but Prothro proved me wrong.

More than that, 2005 had an awful offensive line. Looking back, I amazed they went 10-2.

2012 is still a LONG way off, and a lot can change, but if I had to predict now, I would probably say it will be between LSU and AU for the West next year. I'm not counting us out, but we are losing nearly the whole defense, and Trent.

They were decent, until injuries ruined them. Didn't Wesley Britt go down in 2005? He was pretty good, and we had a decent center in J.B. Closner, until he went down. Taylor Britt gave it all he had, but he was just undersized, even at center. Don't get me started on Chris Capps.
