i dont know. It looked to me like they were better than us. Maybe not. It was a good game either way. No shame in that loss

I really don't know either. We were the better team tonight but play that game ten times and I would bet that we split it 5-5.

Other than Jarrett Lee having a nightmarish night, this game was everything that I expected!

Only boring if you don't really understand the game of football and can't appreciate what those two teams did defensively on that field.

Tim Brando said something to the effect that, "If you didn't enjoy this game, you just don't understand big man football. This was a classic."

I totally agree. That was just punishing and both defenses are

No AJ choked in the big game. He had a wide open TR and made a poor throw.

The long field goals are risky to begin with and Saban chose to go for them rather than field position.

Look, no one got outcoached or outhustled here tonight. It went to freakin' overtime people! LSU is No.1 for a reason - they are great. There is no shame in this loss.

I just wish there was a playoff or at least a +1 system. That would work for everyone.

I disagree, we should have punted on some of those FG tries and played for field position. Maze shouldn't have been in on that punt, if he was still hurt. I agree the execution by our players was lacking, though.

B4Tide, I agree. I was referencing the 'tards that call into that show. I'm definitely gonna listen to the replay Monday night.

Miles took the ball out of his hands. Saban didn't with AJ and it cost you the game.

Don't understand the argument JLee is now on a 9-0 team. I wasn't trying to flame with my post about AJ btw. Other Bama fans have made similar posts.

That was a great football game guys. A shame anyone had to come out on the short end of such a game.

Yeah, it's tough there has to be a "loser" in games like this. IMHO, these are the two best of the best this year, I'd love to see them meet again for all the marbles.

Two great teams (in all likelihood the two best teams in CFB this season) went at it tonight. LSU was just the better of the two teams.

Here's to the LSU D holding Tr to 23 yards rushing.

Why? If LSU wins the SEC do you think a team that didn't win their conference should play for the national title.

If I'm LSU we've already proven we're better than Bama. I'm ready to beat everyone else on the schedule, win the SEC and then beat another conference champion for the national title.

Probably nothing compared to The looks on Funkkytide8's and bamasgot's faces when TR got stuff repeatedly.

@ LSU PATRICK

You do realize that Trent didn't have 23 yards rushing....that was the amount of rushes. He finished right at 90 yards.
Regardless...LSU won the game. Best of luck here out.
