I mean, it doesn't seem like he's absent. He's hosting the first meeting of his Obama Foundation today and tomorrow. Why it isn't widely reported on is a different matter.

Has anyone asked Obama what he thinks about:
- Civil settlement with the IRS office having to pay Tea Party groups for their mistreatment of conservative groups?
- Uranium One deal. Was the transfer of control of uranium to Russia a good thing during his administration?
- What did he know about the FBI’s paying for the FusionGPS information?
Etc. etc.
