May consider pulling it all out over the weekend and just put it into a highly safe investment, like arsenal and munitions.

Dumb.

This will blow over and the market will rebound fairly soon.

If not, you're screwed anyway.

Some shocking information supposedly from someone in Wuhan that has an Australian phone. (Satellite?)
I do not know how reputable this source is but it purports to be as follows:
For 15 years, (1993-2008) I worked with the FBI. My final five years (2003-2008) with the joint Terrorism Task Force. My work was covert. I was granted full "Extra-territorial" operating authoruity by the Office of Intelligence at FBI HQ in Washington, DC. That meant I could not only work in the USA, I could also go overseas.

In that role, I met and worked with people in the Intelligence Community, military and law enforcement from many countries. I maintain relationships with some of those folks to this very day. It is through those relationships that I gain access to information that the rest of the mass-media never gets close to.

Scroll past the fund raising info for the details. There are several articles from the last couple of days.

Smoke from the Wuhan crematoriums?
With no food supply arriving they will have to resort to Soylent Green.

Won’t this kill mostly the really young, really old, and people already in poor health?

All viral and bacterial diseases do this because those are the people whose immune systems are weakest. Some, such as the 1918 novel H1N1 virus, are so strong that they cause havoc even in young adults with robust immune systems. See Cytokine Release Syndrome. It’s their immune systems that ultimately kill them.

This virus is not a grave situation for developed countries, especially once those countries get to summer temperatures.

Ambient temperatures have nothing to do with the virulence of a disease. This myth is centered around the decline of disease case numbers such as influenza when warm weather arrives.

The truth is that people congregate indoors in cold weather and this makes it easier for a flu strain to spread. In warm weather, people are outdoors more frequently and this reduces the opportunity for a virus to spread.

A virus is just as strong in Summer as it is in Winter. It just doesn’t have the same audience after the weather changes. Corona viruses, especially, will survive the Summer and will ramp back up when cooler weather arrives and people begin to stay indoors again.
