Will the left split over how to "manage" the China flu PR?

Some Dems will want to use their total control of the media to pump in good news in time for the 2022 midterms & 2024 election. "Cases falling", "vaccines working", "herd immunity achieved" type headlines
But other Dems LOVE their newfound power & control over people. They love all the restrictions, they love the masks so much they want to make you wear 2 of them. Remember these people are losers in life and never had any power before. Making others as miserable as they are has been their life's great acheivement.
So which side wins?
