Don't think WW1 flyover makes sense, definitely sounded like a jet to me. I was thinking a flyover for a funeral at Arlington at first but it's way too loud for that.

After a second listen, there's absolutely no way that was a plane from WW1, moves into and out of hearing range waaay too fast

What kind of aircraft? Jet DCA. Other than that probably for a special event.

Last time I looked at the aircraft list of allied and German forces during WW1 .....the F-22's involved in the flyover were not on the list ...

Well then it clearly must be getting ready to overthrow the administration or some sort of other nefarious conspiracy. It simply could not be something ordinary or innocuous.
