Modern lie? The scriptures that states Israel is God’s chosen people is thousands of years old.
The modern lie would be anyone denying the Bible calls Israel God’s chosen people.
I think he’s confused, the Bible explicitly says that the 12 tribes are God’s chosen. I believe the Bible also says there will always be a Jewish/Israeli presence, nation, remnants on earth up to and including the return of Christ.

From the earliest moments of creation God made it clear the union between A man and A woman was focused towards procreation. In Genesis 1:28 God tells Adam and Eve,"And God pronounced his blessing on them, (Adam & Eve) Increase and multiply and fill the earth, and make it yours". In other words procreate. In Genesis 9:7 God repeats his command to Noe (of the Ark) and his sons after the flood, "And now, increase and multiply; occupy and fill the earth". So throughout millenia the ideal model has held the "only valid marital union" is between A man and A woman, and ideally that union is fertile and procreative.
Unfortunately problems with infertility exist and some couples are unable to conceive. But from personal experience I can say Catholic Fertility Clinics are working miracles to help couples conceive.
By the way America, your birthrate has gone kaput.

Chosen for what?
To bring the messiah to, to have the first choice of salvation. They rejected the Christ and salvation went to the Gentiles.
The promise of salvation was to Abraham and his descendants, not by blood but by faith. If you believe you become a child of Abraham - by faith.
Jacob is the Jews even to today, that are descendants but reject Christ.
Israel are the people born of faith, adopted into the family of Abraham.
God is just. Not partial.
God is no respecter of person.
See Hebrews.
Remember when Jacob got a new name?
ETA: Jesus was actually an illustration of this because our high priest (like Melchizedek) was not a descendant of the Levites, which was required in order to be a priest.

It clearly does. That’s why I don’t understand all the supposed confusion over the issue. Many posters are pretending to hear this for the first time , or claim it’s somehow a new Baptist doctrine
