The teams still put the best players they have on the field regardless of "social justice".

A leftist knows the phoniness of virtue signaling?

I KNEW it!

Because their players are mostly AAs. They live afraid that the players will revolt and form another league. The NFL owners are like the British in India. They had a few thousand people ruling tens of millions and living in perpetual fear of revolution.

The virtue signaling is even in the madden games. "End racism" is all over every endzone in madden 25.

I don’t think the NFL cares at all about social justice, I think they only do this because it’s in the best interest of their business, business partners, brand and it helps them control the labor force chaos that would ensue if they didn’t demonstrate caring.

Something like 70% of players are black. Between that fact and the ESG scoring, they must take a position.

I in no way defend the league and stopped watching with the 2016 player uprising and kneeling. I understand what the league did, but I have a right to not support it.
