The real question is WHY did the Russians hack the DNC and interfere in the U.S. election in the favor of Trump? If Trump and his minions have nothing to fear from an investigation, a true independent one should be done so the country can move forward. After all, it was a minority of Americans who actually voted for Trump. A majority actually rejected him and voted for his opponent, even WITH all of the shenanigans pulled by the Russians.

Well to answer you directly the IC has conspicuously refused to give enough information to make it clear whether I should give a shite or not. Which is rather telling.
All they have said so far is that some people associates or connected to Trump in some way had communication last year with some Russian intelligence operatives. That's it.
For all I know I could be communicating with a Russian intelligence operative right now - you. It's meaningless bullsht meant to create turmoil and confusion. You know - the kind of shite the CIA does in foreign countries.

Right, we don't know the full story, which is EXACTLY why a real investigation needs to be done to find out one way or another. If Trump and his supporters have no fear of finding anything from an investigation, why are the Republicans hemming and hawing about doing one? After all, they spent millions of taxpayer money and more time than was spent on 9/11 with their political fishing expedition against Hillary Clinton, why can't they invest some time and money getting to the bottom of Trump's ties to Russia?

I don't need a link. The methods used were not hacking. The actors were not the Russian government. Process of elimination tells us that this wasn't a hacking campaign perpetrated by the Russian government.
