What’s obnoxious is when veterans act like they know more about politics than other people because they were in the military.
It usually means they needed college money and got it, and in the process learned a great deal about things they hadn’t planned on learning.

Only those who must suffer should have the right to vote.

Generally it is only VERY important if their opponent is not a veteran, gotta capture that fraction of the vote.
Most folks who hero worship veterans never served or their opinion of the average vet would be very different.

Veterans are just like the rest of us! Some smart, others not so much. Just normal folks doing an extraordinarily difficult job. Forcthat job they deserve our respect. PERIOD.

Missed us completely in Tampa. Nicked up my house in Fayetteville though (after Florence had already gotten it). Not too happy with USAA right now. They are slow as molasses.

Glad to hear that. Sucks about the other house, though. We headed to Perdido, then they called for an evacuation. Missed both places for the most part.

Wrong. We couldn't get rid of the traitor because of his family legacy and deep roots as a ringleader of the Deep State. Trust me, No Name wasn't fooling any of his shipmates and other warfighters. He was a disgrace to this Nation and I hope he is burning in Hell. Please don't mention that POS again.

His first step into the swamp (political realm) was during his final tour of duty as the Navy liaison to the U.S. Senate in 1977. After leaving service, he immediate ran for U.S. Representative for AZ in 1982.
Sure, he used his service and POW status to get into Club of Elites... but his last name, swamp funding, and willingness to prey on the common man kept him there.

Because a military veteran is a person who chose to put his or her life on the line for country and fellow citizens. A veteran knows what honor and integrity is and applies it to everyday life. A veteran knows comradery and above all things, a veteran is a patriot.
Here is the enlistment oath that we swear on:
I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
You can't buy veteran status...you have to put blood, sweat & tears forth to obtain it.

And if Hitler wasn't such a dickwad his service to his country would have been more than enough to garner respect for his life accomplishments.
If that's how you're going to play this game, name any life accomplishment and I can probably name some toolbag who did something monstrous which overshadowed said life accomplishment.
