Why has Assange not been absorbed into MAGA world?

Dude was anti-Deep State before anti-Deep State was cool. He's been trying to buck the system and shine light on the shadiness for years.
I guess he's more of an internationalist than some in MAGA world would like, but his main thing is exposing the hypocrisy of the elite and the entrenched power structure and I think that's right up Trump's alley.
Do you think we see Gorka and Bannon and the like come out in support of Assange?

Wikileaks is posting shite on twitter about how Trump is persecuting Assange. I don't think they're feeling very MAGA-y right now.

Wikileaks is almost completely funded by the Russian government (and that is coming from someone I know that spent time in Military Intel) which is a major reason they never publish anything damaging to Putin.

I don't give a damn what they do or don't publish about Russia and Putin. Assange has done the Lord's work in exposing the rot in the American government and military. Every man and woman in this country should be thankful for him exposing our government's lies and corruption. Wikileaks is what actual adversarial journalism looks like.

wait. I thought you had inside military intel that let you know this. Now it’s common knowledge? I’d love to read some of this evidence that makes it common knowledge. Where did you learn this?

Assange is definitely a player; and it's best that He be in a protected custody. All of this stuff is going to be aired, as it's all related.
You can book it that Assange has a failsafe cache of information that will be dumped upon His death.
Problem is, there are times when US interest must be served by breaking rules (spying, lying, assassination, regime change, etc.); but when the Rule Breakers are 'bad' (think Obama/Commies)...well...

Sessions and Pompeo had a hardon for Assange and that's why he was charged in 2017. Plus they were pissed about Obama commuting Manning's sentence so Assange was charged for the Manning leak.
