Similar to why I don’t want less HOA involvement.
Screw the gaggle of karens at the HOA. If you wanted to control what goes on on MY land, you should have bought it before me. No one is telling me what I can and can't do on my own land.

Freedom and liberty requires each individual to be responsible for their own lot in life.....that scares a lot of people who want to be taken care of.

Exactly. If you are free, then, if your life is fricked up, you have to accept you got yourself there.

Very few people actually like such introspection so, the first politician to come along and tell them, "no, it's because you got fricked", they're ALL EARS!

Women hate freedom, they want perceived security above all else. And then they infect the douchebags that say things like, "happy wife, happy life."

Which is why liberal women who say they "don't need men" are so absurd. EVERYTHING THEY DEMAND requires men. What these women REALLY mean is they want everything men can provide without having to do a goddamned thing to get it.

Because propaganda is a mother fricker

Not sure it even requires propaganda.

I think there are a large number of people, if presented with these choices.....

1. You can be taken care of. Your life is guaranteed to be OK, but nothing special.

or

2. You won't be taken care of, but, you'll be free to possibly have a fantastic highly successful life. But, you could also crash and burn.

A SUPRISING NUMBER IF NOT A MAJORITY WILL CHOOSE #1

A law is only as good as its enforcement, though. Few people will purposefully go 30 MPH over the limit when they know an officer with a radar gun is pointing at them, but plenty of people will go that fast when they think they will get away with it.

This is probably a great time to point out that whatever their original purpose may have been, traffic laws in 2025 have about 1% to do with traffic safety and about 99% to do with
1. Revenue
2. End around 4th Amendment (this one really is #1.........by a wide margin)
