This. I do not agree with much of what Israel has done to the Palestinians in this conflict, but Hamas is even worse. Neither side has clean hands. Also, I in no way support U.S. foreign aid to ANY country, let alone Israel or Palestine.

And so what? As I said arguing over who has the true "ownership" is silly, it accomplishes nothing. What needs to be done is a recognition of how things are now and work from there to resolve the problem. Extremists on either side arguing the other must go or be wiped from the earth foments the violence.

The court said that the two soldiers, both infantry sergeants, had taken part in an operation to seize an apartment building in Tel al-Hawa, a southern suburb of Gaza City, while under attack from Hamas fighters.

But they eventually convicted them, right? This proves they're actually the civilized side, right? That this was an isolated incident? Sure. If you think that the times it takes place with enough evidence to convict the soldiers is the only time it happens, period.
