Why do libs like to virtue signal about telling people to vote?

If you notice on social media, they always have "VOTE" as their profile picture. Isn't this like telling people to also play the lotto when you're trying to win the $1B jackpot?

Because if they don't vote the "fascists" and "Nazis," aka conservatives (aka "Trumpers") win. They must save democracy!
