Is the common perception that the architects of this conspiracy just decided to roll the dice with whomever may be in power at the time of this "collapse of the whole system"? If it was destined to fail, why would "they" be confident that they would hold the political power to, AGAIN, ram through wildly unpopular legislation (i.e. single payer)? Is it supposed to collapse while Obama is still in office?

Isn't it more likely that politicians, ignorant of the healthcare system in general, developed incompetent legislation b/c they are...incompetent? And with the primary intent of short term political gain as opposed to the overall health of the system itself?
