Whether or not you or I think they are the oppressor or the oppressed is irrelevant. We're talking about why that specific viewpoint would disqualify or in some way mean you can't be oppressed.

Oppression isn’t the word I would call opposition to evil, and I certainly don’t see them as ever being given special protection as an oppressed people. However, if they are oppressed, I think that’s the kind of oppression we should all celebrate, along with people who want to kill Jews and wipe Israel off the map in the Middle East or elsewhere. They are of the same cloth as far as I’m concerned.

I certainly do not support the oppression of ANYONE based on any viewpoint they hold. To support something like that goes against everything that this country stands for.
