why announce controversial verdicts in evening?

And why give the thugs an hour to assemble?
Why do judges keep doing this late-afternoon announcements?
I would think announcing a verdict like this at 5am makes the most sense. Pieces of human shite who burn buildings and loot businesses are either asleep or passed out at 5am.

I'd announce around 7PM.
At least most people would be home at that point to protect their property.

Yes. I strongly believe that having HOURS and HOURS to prepare before night-fall would have a significant effect.
I think it is idiotic not to comprehend that.

In most downtowns, morning mobs would disrupt many businesses/companies, traffic.

If nothing else it gives the cops time to assemble before things get bad.
Doing it in the evening gives the looters nightfall sooner, which is when the heavy action starts.
