I wasn't aware of that controversy, interesting.
To be clear, I mention Moore because I believe the Democrats think he is an appealing candidate, but I don't think he can win. After Obama and Harris, the block of voters that elected Obama aren't going to come out and support Moore like they supported Obama.

Moore from Maryland is making the moves needed to lie to the people about who he really is.
Just like obama did in 2008.
Just like obama did in 2008.

The trans fad won’t even be a thing by next election cycle. It’s run its course and didn’t work. It’ll be back to the forever winner racism.

Possibly. He’s certainly trying to moderate some of his positions now, and he does have that “charisma” thing. But DeSantis also destroyed him and his policies back in 2024.
If the Democrats are going to challenge to win, I honestly think they need to get behind someone like Jared Polis. Sure…he’s not someone I’d vote for, but when you compare him and Newsom, Polis won’t have to spent as much energy trying to erase or make people forget he pushed literal Communistic policies.
The Governor of New Mexico was initially looking like someone who could also have a chance at some point as a more moderate Dem candidate, but she went batshit crazy 2020 and beyond with Covid lockdowns and Stalinist gun executive orders. Zero chance now for her.

It won't be Moore. Obama ruined the chances of an African American being elected for a long time.

I hope you’re right.
Selfishly, it’s a loser issue nationwide even with moderates, so it makes it easier for GOP/conservative candidates to win. However, for the sake of children in this country, I hope the shite we’ve seen of promoting it from about 2019-2024 is a thing of the past in society.
Yes, trans people should not be discriminated against (though men shouldn’t be competing against women), and they deserve all the rights other American citizens enjoy. However, the hyper promotion of minors “coming out” and forcing rules to call them by “preferred pronouns” in school, and promotion of transition drugs on minors, needs to all die immediately.
Even far left European countries’ doctors have come out saying how stupid American society and medical community has been on the transition of minors stiff.

This is what I was thinking as well. Its him or Gavin. However AOC will be whomever they choose as VP. There is not doubt she will be VP at a minimum.
