Supply chain is stressed. Demand push back towards suppliers. Think about how many people eat a fast food everyday b4 this. 30-35% of country a day in one stat I saw. Not sure if true but it's believable.

Those people are buying groceries now.

Edit:. I'm in supply food chain. Warehouses that used to be 90% capacity now running at 40-50%, depending on commodity.

Lucky you—I work for a 41 billion dollar comply and I’m on furlough next week and the first week of May.

So that means you get to sit on your ads now and then get paid for it later?

I work for a company that brings in $21 billion and they can't offer us anything extra? Sorry I am not union I guess? BTW thanks to all you truck drivers and especially you guys that drive AND deliver products by hand to these folks. HUGE difference than these OTR guys that just sit in their cabs! It is a thankless job...

I work in a hospital in the city. I'm not a medical professional, have no direct contact with patients, and no PPE has been provided to me. I'm the only person I see most days without a mask and gloves. I receive nothing other than my normal rate of pay.

It's a privilege to be working and to get paid right now.
