And why? How’d that transaction fly under the radar for so long? Smells like Soros

A dumbass. They just pissed the value away and two (and counting) competitors sprang up to replace him.

Who cares?

Drudge was the shittiest website on the internet

He was a fig that only ever got but one scoop
The existence of the blue dress

Even that one scoop hurt this country, because if he would not have published that info Clinton would have perjured himself over it

Drudge is nothing but a news aggregator with a lot of the articles being sent to them by their viewers. What is there to buy?

When was it sold? He still owned last I checked. He did change his advertising buyers but that's about the only changes made recently.

Are you serious?Any idea how much revenue he generates from advertising?

Do you know how many views he gets each day?

has traffic and therefore ads... what exactly else did you think the site's purpose was? Was an aggregator of boomer clicks.

I do think he's lost readership but he still generates an huge amount of clicks and viewership.

He lost me a few months ago. I had him as my home page since the 90's. I suspect it was Soros. Whoever it was was willing to piss away one of the most valuable pieces of internet real estate there was to try to flip conservatives covertly. That takes burning money to a whole different level. At first they were subtle, but at some point they just ripped the bandaid off.

I'm liking Bonginoreport.com

There's been no change to ownership per every Google search I made. Its still privately held by Drudge.

There was a change regarding the advertising buyer and it's a company owned by a Google engineer.

Man, I've been reading the Drudge Report daily since long before the blue dress story. If it's still Drudge doing this, he's had some kind of psychotic break. Selling it makes a lot more sense after this long. If I was going to try to flip his audience I wouldn't be filing any changes either until it no longer mattered after the election.

I know he changed advertising buyer back earlier in the year, but that's not who's determining content. It's obviously not him anymore. It's blatant.
