While making some broad assumptions about me and "my side" you also made some valid points, however while being a very good convoy for another thread, none of that had anything to do with my original post, which can be seen on page 6.

Doesn't matter. There are laws for a reason and can change as society changes. Do things legally. Obey the law or seek help for why you can't help compulsory behavior that endangers others. That is the epitome of infringing on others right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I haven't read the whole string so this may have already been posted, but below is a link to an interesting article in Slate and certainly not a right wing, redneck publication. To their credit they do tend to deal with facts. Although a bit dated, I suspect an analysis today would yield similar findings.
