Not really
A clean DACA bill addresses dreamers, the wall and security prevents a future dreamer crisis

you doubling down on this does nothing to change the very commonly known meaning of "clean" in the context of a bill
DACA has nothing to do with a wall, although i must say "decent try" to your attempt to spin a wall as an attempt at prevention of a "future dreamer crisis"

DACA has to do with action towards childhood arrivals
The meaning is simple
Preventing childhood arrivals is easily defined as part of DACA

except of course for the fact that would be an unambiguous expansion on what the DACA policy actually did
what you mean here is really that "the meaning of DACA can easily be expanded from the literal description of the executive action to include completely new elements"
seriously, good try though

But DACA failed because it failed to fix the dreamers problem, how can you argue that it’s ok to let the failed order proceed but it’s not ok to fix it before letting it proceed?

Anyone watch that meeting live? I only read a recap and it sounded fascinating.

Wasn't the meeting televised? Why would you need the Washington post to tell you what was said? Don't you know they are fake news?
The White House selectively edits its records to remove events embarrassing to Trump, and WaPo is fake news?!
The fact that the White House's attempt to rewrite real events was idiotic and futile doesn't mean it's not worth pointing out, but keep on deflecting! Maybe one day you'll kill the portion of your brain responsible for cognitive dissonance and then you won't have to try so hard.

so they trotted Trump out in front of the camera to somehow reduce the damage done by the book on Trump's abilities and then edit an official government transcript.

You realize that Obama’s DACA doesn’t exist anymore right?
The only form of DACA that exists is the one that Trump allows, addressing Dreamers and their problems can include more than amnesty

i said good try before, but this is getting sad, and you are having to resort to really reaching now.
the DACA policy wasn't to "fix the dreamers problem". it was to do something much more specific and measurable, which it did.
your suggested standard for "clean" here could and would easily expand a shitload of "solutions" to be germane to any action deemed a "failure" by anyone (and for any reason, given the quality of your explanation of DACA's supposed failure).
Sad!

He told Feinstein that they should do a clean DACA Bill and then do comprehensive immigration reform.
That is far from what congressional republicans want.
Wow! BREAKING NEWS!!!
Seriously, so fricking what?!?

The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was an American immigration policy that allowed some individuals who entered the country as minors, and had either entered or remained in the country illegally, to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and to be eligible for a work permit. As of 2017, approximately 800,000 individuals—referred to as Dreamers after the DREAM Act bill—were enrolled in the program created by DACA. The policy was established by the Obama administration in June 2012 and rescinded by the Trump administration in September 2017.[1] In November 2014 President Barack Obama announced his intention to expand DACA to cover additional illegal immigrants. But multiple states immediately sued to prevent the expansion, which was ultimately blocked by the courts. The United States Department of Homeland Security rescinded the expansion on June 16, 2017, while continuing to review the existence of the DACA program as a whole. The DACA policy was rescinded by the Trump administration on September 5, 2017, but full implementation of the rescission was delayed six months to give Congress time to decide how to deal with the population that was previously eligible under the policy.[2] Research shows that DACA increased the wages and labor force participation of DACA-eligible immigrants,[3][4][5] and reduced the number of unauthorized immigrant households living in poverty.[6] Studies have shown that DACA increased the mental health outcomes for DACA-eligible immigrants and their children.[7][8][9] There are no known major adverse impacts from DACA on native-born workers' employment while most economists say that DACA benefits the U.S. economy.[10][11][12][13] To be eligible for the program, recipients may not have felonies or serious misdemeanors on their records.

Everyone and their grandmother knows was "clean DACA bill" means. Why do you feel the need to jump through so many mental hoops to defend the fact that Trump is either the only idiot that doesn't know what it means or else is genuinely fine with passing a clean DACA bill but somehow getting bullied into opposing it?
