Ah. So you interpreted a dictionary definition. Because I'm sure what you wrote isn't in the dictionary. Not important.

I appreciate you admitting that there can be no "criminal collusion" here since you failed to cite the definition or even the term "collusion" from a criminal or federal code. I appreciate your honesty. It is refreshing.

What do you mean what has changed? He didn't do anything wrong or immoral. The attempt by the left to paint it as such is silly. Especially considering what they actually did do is orders of magnitude worse.

That perfectly describes the situation Don Jr so helpfully released.

Maybe get your glasses checked?

You didn't ask for laws broken, you asked for a definition of the word collusion.

Maybe you should try to be clearer in the future, so you're not falling onto your face so often?

What was illegal?

Oh. And if you are using Merriam Webster you are barking up the wrong tree. Criminal law requires a statute or code...and it's elements satisfied.

Which statute or code do you claim was violated. Now in relation to that statute or code...where is "collusion" described?

No. You said what he did was illegal. Twice now. In fact the dictionary definition you used says "illegal". That necessitates breaking a law. Which law?

It likely was - campaign finance laws are quite specific on in-kind contributions.

But you're responding to someone asking me to define collusion - done and answered. You're welcome, champ!

So what was the secret agreement? And what was illegal about it? Who was being deceived by said secret agreement?

What Is Collusion? Is It Even a Crime?

quote:

There are tidbits worth investigating here. For one, why did the convener of the meeting say that the meeting was “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump?” After all, the lawyer from Russia now claims she is not a government lawyer. Moreover, does the statement suggest knowledge on the part of the Trump campaign about support from the government of Russia? I’m certain Congress and Robert Mueller will want to probe. But I don’t think this really amounts to much, at least as a legal matter. “Collusion” is not a cognizable federal offense. Politicians seek dirt on other candidates—the dirtier the better. That is what “opposition research” is all about.

What was the in-kind contribution? Do you know the definition of contribution according to the Code? Do you know the definition of in-kind? You say it was likely the meeting was illegal because of in-kind contributions. Make your case. Shouldn't be hard.

I'll even help you out. Start by looking at 52 USCA 30101

As for your definition...it said "illegal" in it. Which kind of requires you to prove an illegal act for that definition to apply. Right?

Also...courts applying federal code usually look in the code itself for definitions. Just trying to help you out.
