When do we stop doing this continuing resolution bs?

Pass a real budget, not these constant stopgap measures that let the parties hold the country hostage. If Congress votes to buy something it should pay for it, simple as that. Voting to pay the bills is absurd. And stop spending so damned much. On welfare, military, everything. Shrink the government, but pay for what you’ve spent.

House passed all 12 appropriations bills. Senate Democrats blocked all 12.

The Senate has that 60 vote requirement, where the House has 50%. Until the Senate changes the rule to a simple majority, this will continue.

So this kicks the can to Feb 8th when we might be doing it all over again. The continuing resolution has to end.
