Add a big wedge of gubbmint cheese and a jar of peanut butter and they're all set.

The longterm problem is, once somebody gets on SNAP they're there for life. Then, they're kids view it as a way of life and you have generational dependency.
A high school lamate worked for Pensions and Security in Al. and she told me 10 years ago that when she retired she knew of over a dozen families in the county that were on the 3rd generation of welfare benefits.
Back in the 90's my parents were part of a senior's group that did public service projects and they helped hand out commodities. After a year or so my Dad remarked it's the same people every time. How long does it take to find a job?
This stuff needs to have a time limit unless you truly have a disability and you can't work.

Meanwhile the political elite, and CEOs of the giant corporations who led us down this road are building underground bunkers to get away from the shite they created.
