I leased my property late last year. I think they are going to start drilling in the Spring.

Drill, baby, drill!

Covid went away.. demand picked up.. Saudis stopped flooding market.. they like it around 79-90 a barrel..

Of course its economics but Biden's EV mandates, green new scam, and other BS regulations put a choke hold on producing here. The fact they were using the strategic oil reserves to lower the price by only a few dollars a barrel was for optics. The Trump years you had Tex oil rig workers in high demand and the US was the 2nd largest exporter of oil in the world. All this said and what you said the US should never rely on the Saudis for oil and crude prices should remain lower than $70 a barrel per demand.

There is no "hold up", as the US has been putting out all time high numbers for a couple of years now. We already "rely on our own oil" - to the extent that phrase even makes sense. It's a global market and we will always import/export at least some - depending on price/refining needs/etc.

All of this is spot on.
