What states are at play in November, and how do you see them falling?

1. Michigan
2. Florida
3. Virginia
4. Pennsylvania
5. Iowa
6. Ohio (?)
7. Minnesota (?)
8. Maine (?)
9. North Carolina
10. Wisconsin

I’m not buying that Arizona and Georgia are battle ground states just yet, I think they will still be pretty red.

Does trump pick up/lose any of these listed above?

They may be in play now but a lot can happen from now till then. Again, if you believe polls, all states are in play. I can’t justify believing any of that. If some major news comes out damaging the Biden campaign proving corruption, no telling how many states Trump wins.

I don't know how Michigan will go, but I suspect not good for democrats. I can tell you this, my relatives in Michigan are life long rural democrats and they're not happy at all with democrats.

When you got people that voted one way all their life and all of sudden they're telling to frick off - I think it says something.

Nevada is a dark horse that nobody is talking about. I have a relative who lives there. Their entire economy is based on casino gambling and hospitality. Covid just completely derailed that.

A lot of those casino/hotel/restaurant workers were transient types - people who couldn't fit in back home and moved away. There are sooo many people there who live in hotels or these crappy month to month studio apartments. These nomadic transplants are who turned a solid red state blue. With the strip shut down, a lot of them have packed up and moved on again.

There are probably 500,000 fewer people in Nevada right now than there were in 2016. Hillary only won that state by 26,000 votes. The flakes have drifted away, but the cowboys, miners, doctors, etc are still there.

Obviously it’s a long time until November, but if I had to put money down today here’s how I’d predict these:

Michigan-Biden
Florida-Trump
Virginia-Biden
Penn-Biden
Iowa-Trump
Ohio-Trump
Minnesota-Biden
Maine-Biden (Trumps wins the congressional district electoral vote he had in 2016 though)
NC-Trump
Wisconsin-Biden

It’s gonna be an extremely close election IMO.

My sister lives in New Mexico. She says the state is divided. The Hispanics are not liberal like the AA's. It is still divided. Trump needs to rally there.

8. Maine (?) - Maine is one of two states that splits electoral votes. Thinking Trump goes 31-1
9. North Carolina - Coin flip. Leaning R
10. Wisconsin
- R

Georgia is one I was worried about. Recent events in Atlanta have eased those fears, but I think there is still a chance it goes blue.

A move even dumber than hiring Bolton.

Biden has to get out of the debates, somehow someway. Someone has to know that is going to be disaster of epic proportions.

Debate by written response.

He's dead eye as well, that is what I call it. Like the eyes turn almost completely black and its like they can't focus and you feel they are looking right through you. What's worse is when he is searching for words which is a large portion of the time, those black eyes roll up into his head like a shark.

The difference between the 80s and 2020 for Joe is quite a lot, the 80s Joe probably could hold his own with Trump. This Joe is a shell.

These are the key states:

Florida
Pennsylvania
Michigan
Wisconsin
Arizona
Minnesota (only bc potential backlash to protests)

No predictions on how they will fall. All too close to call.

These states will be talked about as swing but are not:

North Carolina (R)
Georgia (R)
Virginia (D)
Colorado (D)
Ohio (R)
Iowa (R)
Nevada (D)

I occasionally sit in on briefings on Republican Party polling (not the stuff you see in the news). Besides voting yourself, the absolute key thing you can do is talk to your wives, mothers, sisters and daughters about how progs will hurt their lives.

Trump is doing fine among men, of all stripes, but is doing historically bad among middle and upper class women. They just think he is a bully and a jerk and are turned off by him. Don’t assume that bc some women in your life are quiet about politics that they will vote the way you think they will.

I know this doesn’t apply to everybody here, but it will to some. The way these women vote will tip the election one way or the other.
