From the Constitution: "Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons." Who do you think those three-fifths people were? Hint: They weren't white people.

Wait, they are still doing that?!

Stop looking for logic. They quit making it 30+ years ago.

Plenty of black people were “free Persons” and thus were counted the same way as any other free person, regardless of race. This was an issue of balancing tax apportionment and representation by a metric other than raw population numbers, in keeping with the laws and socioeconomic standards of the time.

I doubt anybody’s arguing that the laws and prevailing attitudes that led to such considerations weren’t racist or oppressive by today’s standards, but that’s nevertheless an entirely separate issue. The Constitution didn’t create or endorse the harsh realities of that period of history; it merely reflected them in the way that any comparable document naturally must.

New unofficial definition of 'white supremacy' is any white person who isn't a Democrat. It doesn't have to do with anything else. It's why when you see white leftists publicly screaming racial slurs at black people on the street.. ya never see them called white supremacists.

Just like how 'racist' and 'racism' were unofficially changed a few years before the dictionaries started officially changing them to align with the unofficial definitions.

White supremacy is a dog whistle for "White Achievement".

Other races are bitterly jealous of the accomplishments and achievements of the White race.

They push our achievements as some sort of "evil supremacy". This is a cover for their failed and broken cultures.

Exactly. Nobody is arguing that white supremacy and racism weren’t both prevalent and legal in the past. It was wrong and the country changed. I honestly have a fear that if white youth are told from a young age that it is wrong to be proud of their own race or culture, if they grow up feeling ashamed of who they are, they will actually be more vulnerable to these fringe groups on the internet. What if the first person who tells a young, impressionable teen, that it’s ok to be who you are, what you were born as and cannot change even if you want to, is an actual white supremacist or racist? How much influence does that give a small group of evil people to radicalize disturbed or confused young men? How many more potential shooters are being radicalized on the internet as we argue here? I don’t remember a time when i’ve been alive that “us vs them” based on race/gender/politics has been so strong. Granted, i’m not that old that i was around during segregation, but i see unity in our country devolving fast over the last few years. We are moving in the wrong direction.

Yup.. It went from generic accusations to actually pointing a finger at one certain Race.

But ya know.. In 1923 the Jews in Germany felt that they didn't have anything to worry about either. It was just rumblings.

Please define what the President is talking about.

Has Donald Trump been talking about it? I have not heard him say anything on the subject. Or are you referring to the Usurper in Chief?

As it is being used, it is a Marxist construct, specifically from Critical Race Theory.

It’s anything Marxists don’t like.
