re: What is the MAIN reason for the Hysteria?

The fact that people keep saying this is an overblown media campaign to smear Trump is cause for hysteria. Medical experts don't know much about COVID19 because we didn't know it existed until December. They've never seem it before, how would they know everything about it in a few months?

I fail to see any hysteria on the part of leaders of both parties. The shelter-at-home orders by so many governors and mayors seem a reasonable reaction to a pandemic whose trajectory is pretty frightening.

The Trump Administration now says 100K to 200K deaths would be a GOOD result as comparted to a million or more deaths some predict. But we still have the uninformed talking about highway deaths and flu deaths as if they were somehow comparable to what Covid-19 is bringing us.

Posted this before but will say it’s again. The origin of the word hysteria is the Greek word uterus. Because women are more prone to fits of hysteria and overreaction, it’s just biological. Because of progressives preaching for the last 30 years, men need to be more like women. Genders are fluid, masculinity is toxic, etc. we now have this, a nation of men that act like women in the face of adversity. Instead of a man standing up and saying, as a society we’ll face this challenge but we won’t shut down our economy over it. We have men who are acting like scared Irrational women.
