There won’t be.

Not only will there be a vaccine, there will be more than one.

Not only that, but the normal vaccine development time is 2-4yrs, design-to-deployment. We were first given the CV19 genetic sequence Jan 7th.

American exceptionalism and capacity to solve challenges will incredibly lead to more than one vaccine in full distribution before that anniversary date, Jan 7, 2021.

The vaccine, if we develop one will likely be no more effective than a conventional flu vaccine......
We guess as to the next season's flu strain in order to lead with a vaccine. If we guess wrong or more than one strain circulates, the flu shot is ineffective. Flu also is quite mutable, adding to the challenge.

In the case of a CV19 vaccine, we're not guessing as to the virus. CV19 is less prone to mutation. Finally, if Jenner Institute findings hold, an HCoV vaccine targeting spike proteins might not even need to be specific for CV19, which is very encouraging.

Finally, even if the thing was only 60% effective, widespread application would generate de facto herd immunity.

Again, people keep referring to other coronaviruses to justify their thought that since they don't have vaccines for then how would it be possible to make one for this. Who the frick would take a vaccine for the common cold? There's no money in it. The big pharmas are racing to get rich right now

I don’t care if there is. I won’t be taking it any time soon. And I’m not even close to an anti-vaxer except with this one.

One of the strangest and most disturbing items during this was Bill Gates being given a voice and platform as some medical expert, (almost) demanding that ~7 billion people receive a vaccine that, as of now, does not exist.

I would prefer he stay in his lane and do something about the never-ending spinning circle associated with his software updates.

This will all blow over after the election. That’s what most of this hysteria is about
