On almost any other topic I could start a thread and ask for proof of almost any other subject or topic and people would respond without complaint. You might get a few insults, but people would post what they consider evidence. I see it all the time on topics like evolution or string theory or whythe coach makes poor decisions. Not Q, though. I wonder why that is?

Regarding Q, I don't have a want or diswant to believe anything. Just a little proof beyond how Trump holds an envelope in a photo op. No one seems able to do that.

First off, I haven't degraded anyone. If you consider the questioning of your beliefs to be degrading then you aren't very secure in your beliefs. In fact, you should be able to make some semblance of a convincing argument in support of them. Something you haven't done. I also notice that you weren't doling out life lessons when the other poster was repeatedly insulting the OP for even asking about proof.

That post isn’t near as bad as many, but it’s a common theme with conspiracy theorists: they brag about all of the research they’ve been doing, but refuse to actually provide anything when it’s requested. In addition, since there isn’t usually a 2,000 page thread to point them to, they often don’t even provide any place to get someone started.

I think it’s quite telling. Either they are incapable of summarizing something they argue is so obvious, which probably indicates why they believe such outrageous things in the first place, or they realize how asinine it is when trying to summarize it. So either they don’t really believe it or they are trying to prevent that from happening.

One of the biggest ironies I’ve seen on here, is that it’s supposed to be a thread about being open-minded to the “truth,” because it’s clearly not obvious, but the one time I posted something because it was so ridiculous, and made a little snarky remark with it (asking if this was a role playing thing), my post was deleted and I got a message telling me to stay out is the thread.
