the same stuff you probably supported 6+ years ago

they haven't really changed

Trump convinced a bunch of GOP supporters to vote for a populist Democrat under the GOP label and won 1 election (a big one, mind you) as a huge upset and then they convinced themselves they had a mandate that simply didn't exist. now you think that you're the majority of "the right" when really that's still the same old GOP you are asking about and know exactly where they stand

Their goal is to allow the left to move forward and put up a little resistance. They don't oppose anything the left wants but they want to make it look like they oppose it for self preservation of their elected power. The path of least resistance is easy work.

Not the American people, that's for sure.

This is the truth. They oppose things the left wants during election years, then cave-in when it's time to actually do something.

The really large petrochems like Exxon Mobil are supporting the swamp and a lot of the green energy hokum. They want artificially high gas prices and sweetheart deals for themselves and to take away the competition of independents. They control the industry more that way.

Absurd to say Republicans have no clear agenda. The Republican Party platform includes clear positions on many issues. As for me, I am a one issue "Conservative" Republican. As in I do not accept that my tax dollars are used to slaughter innocent human beings.....as in abortion. I believe every life is precious, and deserving of protection under the law. THAT is NOT what we have now. What we have now is a culture of death.

Having said that......please stop butchering babies. Stop butchering female, male, black, white babies. Babies of all racial, ethnic background. Instead let's gather together as a peoples and discuss and implement ways to strengthen and stabalize the traditional family. It's important.

"The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between". - Saint Teresa of Calcutta

The concise answer is simply another term. They're more fickle than a toddler's taste buds.

When you ask yourself this question, keep in mind that the Republicans has the house, the senate, and the presidency for 2 years and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They are completely useless.

Republicans on the national level don’t fight for anything. They only oppose things Dems put up. That is why we never progress in conservative ideals and things like national reciprocity for CC get shelved. They waste time while we have control and then settle in to their favorite thing which is just to by lazy opposition to the Democratic agenda.

ETA: for them they can just fundraise as opponents to “big government” and “fighting for lower taxes” and other buzz words. But when time comes for them to put up conservative policy victories they sit in their hands and are scared the Dems/media won’t like it if they do something crazy like vote for conservative ideals.
