I know it can’t be fully taken out as there’s so many. According to the FBI over 4 million websites on the dark web shut down. But if you watch predator catchers on YouTube there’s an endless supply of these men. And they are on Facebook, instagram, and apparently other apps like telegram and others I’ve never heard of finding kids, even if many are “baits”

Can congress do much to severely limit this or would it take over surveillance and government overreach to do it? Maybe give fbi more resources? It seems like killing a lot of mosquitoes but knowing overall you didn’t do much good.

Get advice from Ryan Montgomery. He was on the Shawn Ryan podcast. Hes a former hacker and sets up stings online identifying pedos and turns in the names to authorities. He does impressive work.

AI seems to be helping a lot, as is cloud storage (where it can be scanned in real time by the company). The larger problem is coming from the third world

I don't see how any additional surveillance laws would help at all unless things go insanely, illegally invasive

The threshold for capital punishment should be dropped to the floor. Predatory crimes of violence against children, the elderly & animals should be punished in the harshest of manners.

If Congress wants to stop predators they can start by looking inwards.

I agree that harsher punishments, much harsher, would help, but they all plead down. On YT, there's an endless supply of these pred catchers, and they have new content almost every day. Listened to a podcast with Alex Rossen (?) a few weeks ago, and he says the hits on their baits are constant. It's insane how common it is.
