West Virginia's governor just announced that all bars, restaurants, gyms, small businesses, retail stores, and museums are now free to open back up to 100% capacity. Conservative states are fed up with the bullshite and are now ignoring federal guidelines. Finally.

ETA: Add Arizona to that list as well.

Governor Blackface to keep his state closed indefinitely unlike his Neanderthal neighbors to the west.

Someone here posted a map of all the states which have/are reopening. Was that a verified map?

Good. After 70m+ infections + 85m+ vaccine doses administered, COVID is winding down in the US. The at-risk population is on the way to no longer being at risk. Open this up, NOW. Should have been done as soon as it was obvious that this wasn't the damn plague to end all plagues.

P.S., thanks China!

It was exactly the same with the shite downs. Once one did it, they all followed along.

Mississippi did too and you know what?? Places (some, not all) are still requiring masks and having capacity limits.

I totally get it's better that THEY have the choice to do it as opposed to be a mandate but shite.

Get over the fear people. LIVE YOUR LIFE.

Fauci is the guest speaker at Vandy's graduation so I've heard. Think it's going to be virtual but I might would have to skip that.

HR1 & Equity Act is the gut check.
Only takes one pair of nuts to derail the whole system.

Businesses making these choices don't bother me. If they think they can stay afloat at 50% capacity with interminable mask mandates in their businesses, cool go for it. Business owners can run their businesses as they see fit. Just don't be surprised when the business down the street takes all your customers after dropping restrictions.

The government telling them they have to do this, well, that's where the problem lies.

Exactly. I’m in south Ark, stopped to grab a cold beer the other day, didn’t have a mask in truck, took one step in Manager states I had to have a mask, walked back to my truck and crossed the parking lot to next station to grab my damn cold beer. Yes it was only $3.50, but it felt good.

Now we need states to start putting in laws fighting the garbage coming out of DC. The voting act has to be fought for sure. Lets see biden send in troops to force those laws in TX, and see if it doesnt kick off TEXIT.

And all the other garbage.
