- Emphasis on group over individual
- Censorship
- Attack on dissenters, including academics and intellectuals
- Creation of climate of fear
- State collaboration with corporate and media to propagandize the population
- Demonization/ Dehumanization of dissenters, creation of domestic enemy
- Creation of learned helplessness and bystander effect for many
- Slogans: “Trust the science”, “Flatten the curve”
- Visual symbols of conformity: masks, flags, uniforms, rallies

* Destruction of the Individual

- Shut down social life activities
- Closure of massive number of businesses and public space
- Isolation and atomization of people from each other
- Psychological harm caused by masking
- People are easier to control when they are isolated and psychologically damaged

* Wealth Transfer and Loss of Economic
Freedom

- Creation or exasperation of economic precariousness and uncertainty
- Economic transformation to massive entities (Amazon, Walmart, etc)
- Destruction of small businesses and economic freedom (bank spying, limits, etc)
