Well, the Moon Missions MUST BE FAKE!
If Alex Jones had said this you guys would be eating it up

Alex Jones is a nut! Is AJ your standard?
Really?
You're truly defending an a-hole, idiot making a-hole, idiot statements targeting an a-hole, idiot audience which might believe the a-hole, idiot's crap.
Really?
Is that your standard?
My father engineered Minuteman launch characteristics at STL in Los Angeles. Then he transferred to Michoud and worked on terrestrial orbit (i.e. Saturn V 2nd Stage) characteristics for each of our Apollo missions. The ones that went to the moon as well as Apollo 7.
He heard crew recordings as Apollo1 incinerated (Grissom, White and Chaffee were incredibly controlled FWIW). Maybe that was fake too???
As a kid, I lived the space race. I watched Saturn V and 1B stages floated from Chalmette down the ICW toward Canaveral. As a kid i I saw clouds form and threaten rain inside Michoud's Saturn V assembly plant.
Spectacular stuff!
Screw Seth Curry.

If he wasn't able to make 30 ft jumpers he'd be working the day shift at a snow cone stand.

Buzz Aldrin To Steph Curry: ‘Go Ask The Russians’ If We Landed On The Moon
December 12, 2018
Interesting response...
quote:
Curry told ESPN Wednesday he was “one thousand percent” joking when he made the comments and said he would accept NASA’s invitation to show the two-time MVP its collection of moon rocks at the Johnson Space Center in Houston and educate him about the mission.
quote:
When asked about Curry’s remarks, Aldrin didn’t want to comment, but did tell CBS2’s Crystal Cruz to tell Curry to “go ask the Russians” who landed on the moon.
It wasn’t clear specifically what Aldrin was referring to.

In 2015, a former spokesman for the Russian Investigative Committee called for an investigation into the NASA moon landings – not to verify whether they happened, but rather to investigate the disappearance of original footage from the first moon landing in 1969, according to a report. “We are not contending that they did not fly [to the moon], and simply made a film about it,” Vladimir Markin, a spokesman for the government’s official Investigative Committee, wrote in an op-ed published by Russian newspaper Izvestia. “But all of these scientific – or perhaps cultural – artefacts are part of the legacy of humanity, and their disappearance without a trace is our common loss. An investigation will reveal what happened.”

Russia's top space official says their mission to the moon will help verify conspiracy theory
Benjamin Goggin,
Associated Press Nov. 24, 2018, 8:57 AM
quote:
Russia's top space agent, Dmitry Rogozin, said that a proposed mission to the moon would seek to verify whether or not the US had been there. Rogozin made the statement when asked about the conspiracy theory that claims that the US never actually landed on the moon. The theory appears to have increased in popularity in recent years. One Russian poll found that 28% of respondents doubted the moon landing.
quote:
The head of Russia's Roscosmos space agency has said that a proposed Russian mission to the moon will be tasked with verifying that the American moon landings were real. "We have set this objective to fly and verify whether they've been there or not," said Dmitry Rogozin in a video posted Saturday on Twitter. Rogozin was responding to a question about whether or not NASA actually landed on the moon nearly 50 years ago. He appeared to be joking, as he smirked and shrugged while answering. But conspiracies surrounding NASA's moon missions are common in Russia. The Soviet Union abandoned its lunar program in the mid-1970s after four experimental moon rockets exploded.

China Launches First-Ever Mission to the Moon’s Farside In late December or early January the Chang’e 4 spacecraft will touch down at a site near the lunar south pole within the solar system’s largest-known impact crater
By Jonathan O'Callaghan
on December 7, 2018
quote:
The launch took place from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province on a Long March 3B rocket today, December 7, at 1:23 pm Eastern time (2:23 am local time in China). The spacecraft will now begin a three-day journey to the moon before remaining in polar lunar orbit until a landing attempt is made by the end of the year at the earliest. “They are talking about around December 31 or January 1,” says Bernard Foing, director of the European Space Agency’s International Lunar Exploration Working Group, who was part of a European collaboration with the China National Space Administration (CNSA) on the mission.
So far, the spacecraft appears to be in good health. China will use the preceding three weeks in lunar orbit to take images of the surface, and ensure the landing site is clear of obstacles. Whenever it occurs, the seven-step landing process—which will be entirely autonomous—will last just 11 minutes from the deorbit burn to touching down on the surface. Chang’e 4 is intended to land in the 186-kilometer-wide Von Kármán Crater in the South Pole–Aitken Basin on the moon; the latter feature is the moon’s largest-known impact crater at about 2,500 kilometers across. This scientifically fascinating region could yield invaluable data about how the moon formed and evolved, owing to exposed mantle at this location.
quote:
The Chang’e-4 mission will help illuminate some of the most shadowy secrets of our nearby neighbour, after landing on the far side of the world.
No spacecraft has made such a journey onto the distant part of the Moon. Doing so is difficult because it means venturing to a part of the Moon that is largely unknown to us, since we can never see its far side from Earth.
quote:
Just as with the world it will explore, much of the mission remains murky and unknown. The Chinese space agency has stayed largely quiet about details of what will happen, including where exactly on the Moon it will arrive.
