This breaks my Heart because my President can’t even have videos posted about him !!

Probably a claim by AC/DC.

Copyright law has been abused for far too long. It was never meant to prevent ALL use of material; it’s just supposed to prevent you from stealing profits from owner.

YouTube will even remove/strike a video that someone filmed outside because a car drove by playing copyrighted music. So much for “fair use.”

I agree Slapahoe.

I lived in Disney many years ago and read a lengthy article about the legal aspects surrounding the company. At the time they had only lost seven lawsuits which I found astounding given the visitors to their parks. Many lawyers would not even take a case trying to sue them. They drag you through "Disney friendly" courts for months, present all these freshly scrubbed kids and experts, one lawyer said they even flew in some expert on a particular tree (a branch had fallen on someone) from Austria (complete with Arnold accent) to give testimony. Ones they lost were bullshite, guy got on spacemountain roller coaster, with a heart condition, when there were several signs not to, and had a heart attack. Court ruled they should have had better heart facilities on premises.

However, on the flip side, to your point, they are holy terrors regarding tradmark infringement. They had taken a friggin day care center in Orlando, a mom and pop operation, to court because they had painted Disney characters on their wall outside. Just a wee bit extreme.

They don't have a choice. If they don't protect their intellectual property they'll lose them. You have to sue over copyrighted material etc. or you lose the copyright.

I got a "Copyright Strike" from YouTube for posting a video of a cover of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer".

I went back and re-titled everything, putting the Artist's name in the title.
