And the blacks and Hispanics aren’t voting for a gay guy for president.

Sorry, not sorry.

No. Biden will attract the Moderates and what few Conservatives there are left in the Democratic Party. The last thing you want is to give them someone they could all rally behind.

A Bernie nomination skews off a chunk of those Moderates and all of the Conservatives. It also taints every down-ballot Democrat as a fellow Socialist as well as tainting the Democratic Party as the Socialist Party for at least the next decade or two. A Bernie nomination would also fire up the Trump supporters more than a Biden nomination (due to Bernie's Socialist stance).
I’ve been wondering who was a worse candidate between Bernie and Biden, but I think you’re correct here.

Nice job of pointing out the possibilities. I now agree it’s Bernie.

It makes me cringe that people actually would want to rally behind Joe Biden.

There is nothing like able about Joe Biden.

Without the Sanders supporters backing ANY dim nominee AND the huge majority of the African-American vote (that eliminates Mayor Pete!), democrats have literally NO chance.

Would you, coachcrisp, have stayed home or voted for Hillary in 2016 if Ted Cruz or Jeb! got the nomination instead?
