No. Biden will attract the Moderates and what few Conservatives there are left in the Democratic Party. The last thing you want is to give them someone they could all rally behind.
A Bernie nomination skews off a chunk of those Moderates and all of the Conservatives. It also taints every down-ballot Democrat as a fellow Socialist as well as tainting the Democratic Party as the Socialist Party for at least the next decade or two. A Bernie nomination would also fire up the Trump supporters more than a Biden nomination (due to Bernie's Socialist stance).
Nice job of pointing out the possibilities. I now agree it’s Bernie.
