This is a shite show. We haven't been willing to do what it takes to win a war in a long time. We do have morals. A commitment to keeping our people alive.
But what it takes to win a war is total annihilation, and that means heavy bombers, Marines, then and ground occupation. It means you completely control a country and implement a democratic government under your control. You literally have to go door to door and weed out the resistance. '
You hate what you're doing. You don't brag about it like this moron Hegseth. You just conduct the business of war and hope for a quick end.
People don't want that. We're fighting a bad regime, but not Hitler. We don't have the stomach for it.

That is foolish to believe. Do you know that the original plan was to be in Iraq for 2-3 months after Saddam fell and then leave? The Middle East is a tangled web of ethnicities, religious sects, and different cultures. Very different from Venezuela, where you have a largely homogenous population. It is going to take a lot of work to establish an interim government that can unite a coalition of groups. Beyond that, they will be expecting our support against insurgencies.

This was never about doing anything right by the people of Iran. It was about destabilizing the area and removing the main evemy for Israel. Was Iran a wonderful place? No. But this was never about us, not the people of Iran. Once again we do the bidding for Israel. Goyim.
