What percentage of the overall tax burden should the top 1 percent be responsible for?
Ever notice that leftists are AGAINST wealth inequality, but proponents of tax inequality? They love that!

You shouldn’t be able to hide money in offshore accounts with the purpose of tax evasion.
What state do you live in? Do you think you should pay property taxes to California? I mean... you're hiding your wealth from them!!!

Totally disregarding the illegality of such a tax, every penny confiscated would be stolen or wasted.

“Anyone who thinks this is a good idea should take a look at the rates when the income tax started.”

The concept seems to be gaining some big name support now.
ie Disney family members, Hyatt hotel family members,
George soros, Chris “facebook” hughes And like 18 other uber wealthy individuals have signed onto a letter proclaiming that the time has come to address wealth disparity with a wealth tax. The letter is called “an open letter to the 2020 candidates, it’s time to tax us more.”

Incredible.

$50M at 2% and $1B at 3% seems pretty reasonable for a policy such as this. Most leftists would place a very low floor such as $1M on an idea such as this. I agree though this will spiral quickly.

If the uses for the money are narrow i'm fine with it
