So the first vid is outbound fire from some sort of rocket launch system. I can’t see it so won’t speculate but it could be Iraqi. Almost certainly friendly to our guys . A mobile system like that would draw a lot of attention. As for the help those are just flares being popped by the ah-64. They are designed to deal with heat targeting systems but are also used to scare people without hurting anyone.
I actually flew those very helos out of that very base.

Do we normally launch salvos from civilian areas?
Haven't looked at the videos, but Never. US policy dictates against it and rightfully so.

Thats what I thought, Gnash shed some more light too. Interesting if the Iraqi's are carrying out the strike. Maybe?

Remember well the sounds of thunder from the B-52s when they would make their saturation runs just across the DMZ at night. It was a mixture of thunder and earth tremors. Simply awesome!!
US firepower is absolutely unbelievable.

Don't believe those are US rockets. They wouldn't be firing from the middle of an apartment complex. Think those are Iraqi forces.
I'm sure all those rockets have "Made in U.S.A." written on them....
